Tour | Dinghy Adventure
Our dinghies allow you to sail from Recco to Punta Chiappa and San Fruttuoso through the protected marine area of the Portofino National Park, discovering its hidden beaches along the way. During the excursion, you’ll have the opportunity to stop for a snorkeling session and explore the underwater world. You’ll be entering a protected marine reserve with limited docking points, so it’s essential to attend the mandatory briefing with a local Blackwave guide before departure.
Don’t miss the chance to visit Punta Chiappa, “Cala dell’Oro,” and the famous Christ of the Abyss statue (12 meters underwater).

What We’ll Do

10:00 AM – Meet at the Blackwave Surf Shop in Recco. After changing in the on-site facilities, we’ll have a briefing with the guide who will explain the tour route. Once equipped, we’ll head out to sea to start the adventure.

10:30 AM – 12:30 PM – We’ll visit key stops along the tour: Camogli, Punta Chiappa, and San Fruttuoso.

1:00 PM – Return to Camogli and Recco.
Punta Chiappa | Kayak Tour
The protected marine area of Portofino is a true earthly paradise. Its crystal-clear waters, sea caves, and hidden coves are gems waiting to be discovered—and a kayak tour is the perfect way to explore them. Led by an experienced guide, this tour follows a stunning route that offers breathtaking views of beautiful Camogli, Punta Chiappa, and Porto Pidocchio—locations that become even more magical when seen from the sea.

What We’ll Do

10:00 AM – Meeting point in Recco (GE) at the Blackwave Surf Shop. After changing in the on-site facilities, we’ll have a briefing with our guide, who will explain the tour route and proper paddling techniques. Once equipped, we’ll head out to sea to begin our adventure.

11:00 AM – First stop and meeting point in Camogli (GE) at the main pier. From here, we’ll paddle southwest toward Punta Chiappa. Along the way, we’ll take breaks in the most scenic spots for a swim and visit a beautiful cave near Camogli. Since this is a protected marine area, there are only a few allowed stopping points—but our guides know the area well and will make sure you get the best experience.

12:30 PM – Arrival at Punta Chiappa, where we’ll stop for a packed lunch. After lunch, we’ll enjoy the crystal-clear waters with a snorkeling session.

1:30 PM – Departure back to Recco. The tour ends around 2:00 PM.
The total duration is 4 hours, with about 1.5 hours of active paddling. We’ll make several stops along the way, and if you get tired, no worries—our guide can assist by towing you.
San Fruttuoso | Kayak Adventure
We’ll explore the protected marine area of the Portofino National Park by kayak, discovering hidden beaches and breathtaking coastal scenery. During the excursion, you’ll have the chance to stop for a snorkeling session and explore the vibrant underwater world. Since we’ll be entering a strictly protected area with limited docking points, the presence of a certified guide is essential.
Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Punta Chiappa, Cala dell’Oro, and the famous Christ of the Abyss (12 meters underwater). We’ll carry our packed lunch in dry bags, so there’s no risk of it getting wet.
What We’ll Do

10:00 AM – Meeting point in Recco (GE) at the Blackwave Surf Shop. After changing in the on-site facilities, we’ll have a safety and route briefing. Once geared up, we’ll begin paddling south toward Punta Chiappa. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to snorkel and discover the beauty beneath the surface.

11:00 AM – First stop at the main pier in Camogli (GE), where additional participants can join the tour.

12:30 PM – Lunchtime! We’ll retrieve our (dry!) packed lunches from waterproof bags and enjoy a well-deserved break at Punta Chiappa.

1:30 PM – We continue our journey toward San Fruttuoso, arriving in about an hour. Here, you’ll enjoy another swim and snorkeling session to admire the iconic Christ of the Abyss, located 12 meters underwater.
As we paddle from Punta Chiappa to San Fruttuoso, we’ll pass the breathtaking Cala dell’Oro, a stunning stretch of coastline only accessible by sea, as land access is strictly prohibited. -
3:30 PM – The Blackwave dinghy will pick us up for the return trip, with arrival back in Camogli and Recco around 4:00 PM.
Kayak & SUP Rental
We offer kayak (single and double) and stand-up paddleboard (SUP) rentals.
Surf Lessons
Each lesson includes all necessary equipment: surfboard, wetsuit, rash guard, booties, access to changing rooms with hot showers, and lockers for valuables.
